Virginia Brown Stafford's Obituary
Mrs. Virginia Brown Stafford, age 92, of Austell passed away Friday, October 11, 2019. She was a homemaker and loved gardening. Virginia was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Stafford; daughters: Lucille Stafford, Peggy Sewell and Betty Thomas; and son, D.L. Stafford. Virginia is survived by her daughters: Mary Stafford Smith of Lithia Springs and Norma (Jerry) Denuex of Villa Rica; son, Johnny (Cheryl) Stafford of Dallas; sons-in-law, Charles Thomas of Mableton and Bill Sewell of Cleveland, TN; daughter-in-law, Rhenda Stafford of Blue Ridge; grandchildren, Rita Franklin, Carolyn Varner, Karen Johnson, Michael Sewell, David Thomas, Anthony Thomas, Matthew Thomas, Sara Thomas, Samantha Taylor, Jennifer Rivera, Julie Smith, Brent Stafford, Amanda Rivera, Leigh Hall, and Laine Messer; 21 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at the Davis-Struempf Chapel with Rev. Mike Woods officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM on Monday prior to the service. Interment will occur at Sunrise Memorial Gardens following the funeral service.
