Virginia "Ginnie" Bradley's Obituary
Virginia “Ginnie” Bradley, age 91 of Mableton passed peacefully June 17, 2024.
Ginnie was born to Oscar and Bessie Rhinehardt at home in Young Harris, GA. She grew up in Young Harris and graduated from Young Harris College. After graduating, Ginnie’s industrious nature shone through when she traveled to Atlanta and walked the streets applying for jobs. She landed a position at Southern Bell, where she worked for 35 years until her retirement at 55 years old.
Ginnie’s happy place was at her lake house in Canton. She and her family shared many precious memories there, and she got to pass on in the place that she loved.
Ginnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 58 years, Alex William “Bill” Bradley, Jr; and eight of her siblings.
She is survived by her beloved children, Gina Tiedemann (husband, Steve) of Mableton and Todd Bradley (wife, Amber) of Rex; grandchildren, Alex and Alexis, both of Rex; siblings, Betty Dyer of Blairsville and H.L. “Bobo” Rhinehardt of Young Harris; and beloved extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 25th, Georgia National Cemetery with Keith Hallman officiating. For anyone attending the graveside, please plan to be at Georgia National by at least 9:40 AM.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home, Austell.
