Viola Slagle's Obituary
SLAGLE, Viola age 85 of Mableton passed away July 30, 2015. She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Friendship Club, and St. John Vianney Women’s Guild where she was The Woman of the Year. She served as Eucharistic Minister and a member of Saint Vincent DePaul. She volunteered at Brian Center for 21 years and was an excellent bingo player. Viola is survived by son, Steven Anthony Slagle of Mirimar, FL; Gregory Alan Slagle of Powder Springs; daughter, Gail Secord of Mableton; sisters, Martha Hammen of Washington, Iowa, Rosella Yamello of Mableton, and Grace Bringman of Mableton; 9 Grandchildren; 3 Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 10:00 AM at St. Vianney Catholic Church with Rev. Mark Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Funeral Home, Austell.
