Vincent Joseph McKenzie Jr.'s Obituary
Vincent Joseph McKenzie, Jr., age 92, passed away April 23, 2026, after a long journey with dementia.
He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, in 1933. Vince graduated from Wilkensburg High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Vince had a successful career in sales that took him around the world. He was an avid tennis player, and his passion for golf aided him during physical therapy and rehabilitation from his stroke.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Vincent Joseph McKenzie, Sr. and Leona Sweeney McKenzie; as well as his brother and best friend, James Edgar McKenzie.
Vince is survived by his daughter, Maureen McKenzie Mitchell; grandson, Adam Mitchell; nieces, Nancy (Joe) Carlson and Sandy Neer; nephew, Thad (Joyce) McKenzie; and many great-nieces and nephews.
A committal service will be held Thursday, May 7, at 1:30 PM at Georgia National Cemetery. For anyone wishing to attend, please plan to arrive at the cemetery by 1:15 pm.
