Videra Filicia Bone's Obituary
Videra Filicia Bone, age 93, of Mableton passed away March 7, 2019. Videra was a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church and a former member of Davis Chapel Baptist Church. She was married to her husband, Heron, for 59 and a half years. A wonderful homemaker, she is remembered as a kind and gentle soul who loved the Lord and enjoyed working in her flower garden. Videra was preceded in death by her husband, Heron Bone; parents, Joe and Bessie Jordan; son-in-law, Jimmy Wise; and several sisters and brothers. She is survived by her children, Pansy Wise, Susan (Jimmy) Lewis, and Angelia (Marvin) Olvey; grandchildren, Brian (Candice) Lewis, Michael (Alison) Lewis, Shawn Wise, Greg (Brandy) Olvey, Keith (Jennifer) Olvey, and Scott Spears; great grandchildren, Carson, Dalton & Anna-Lin Lewis, Zoe Wise, Ashley Holmes, Danielle Wise, Tristin, Hope, Taylor, McKenzie, Olivia, Emma, and Greg Olvey Jr.; and three great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home on Saturday, March 9th, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 10th, 2:00 PM at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church with Dr. Randal Whitten officiating. Interment will follow the service at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery, Dallas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Mt. Harmony Baptist Building Fund or the New Georgia Baptist Building Fund.
