There are no words to express how I feel about my baby brother Vaughan's passing.
His courage,positivity, super human strength, faith, humour and above all love and concern for his family and loved ones even while he was going through such tremendous pain and suffering was something to behold.
He had gone through some extreme dark times in his life but I think surviving those bleak days gave him the strength and determination to put up such a tremendous fight against an enemy he had no chance to defeat.
He grew from a shy little boy ( believe it or not ! ) into a giant of a man in so many ways and gave the best and biggest hugs.
He was loved by many and missed by all.

Dear Vaughan
We will always remember the good times we shared with you either back home in England or in the USA.
You were always joking even when we saw you for the last time in June when you was so poorly. Heaven has gained a sincere, caring and funny guy and you are probably making them all laugh up there.

You were one of my younger cousins and Jim and I used to babysit for you and your brothers Raymond, Rolland and sister Jaquie. You were such a happy little boy especially when you had your favourite snack of Twiglets in front of you. You inherited your dear Dads dry sense of humour and always had a smile for everyone you met. My daughters loved you to bits and will miss you, especially Leanne and your Friday night dancing. My dearest Vaughan,
I was lucky and blessed to have known you all my life and you were the most kind hearted, loving and silliest person I have ever had the pleasure to know. It was an honour and a pleasure to have had you in my life. I never saw you without a smile on your face, even through difficult times, you always smiled. We shared some great times and had some funny and odd adventures growing up and I shall treasure them all always.
Vaughan, I will never forget how you taught me how to dance on the circles of my parents living room carpet every Friday night, we had such a good time and I can hear you laughing about it now! We were quite the Fred and Ginger.
I can't believe you are no longer here but I will always love and treasure you in my heart and miss you always.
May your suffering now be over and you can rest in peace and be pain free as you deserve.

I worked with Vaughan back in the 80's as a driving instructor. Such a sense of humour, a zest for life and never a dull moment. I don't think I ever saw him without a smile on his face. He was part of a group of friends of my youngest brother and he came to our home on more than one occasion. Although the years passed by so fast and we all lost contact I find it hard to believe that someone who possessed such warmth and goodness had to endure such suffering. Life is a lottery but from what I have been told and also from the entries on this site, Vaughan lived life to the full and packed in more into his years than many of us will do if we live to be a 100.
Rest in peace, I am thinking of you from where I am in Hillingdon, England at this time and my condolences go to all in his family.
To live in the hearts and memories of friends is to never die. You will not be forgotten.

Vaughan was my favorite cousin, right from the time I can remember. I have had so many laughs with him over the years esp 1991 when we lived with his Mom and Dad for six months. I never had a dry eye during that time , it was so much fun. Even a few weeks ago we still laughed about Berties tail ! Vaughan I will miss calling you and leaving you silly messages , and I will miss the messages more you left me. Especially when you were so sick and in so much pain.

I only got to meet Vaughan one time, when cousin Holly brought him for Easter dinner with my part of the family tree. He was very sweet, funny and polite. He fit right in with my crazy clan like he`d been around for years. I`ve seen how happy he made Holly and vice versa. They for sure had something special. Wish I`d had a chance to get to know him better.
Was nice seeing the two of you share this last year or so. The love and joy you shared shone in all the silly pictures and videos. Am glad you had the time you did. You made lots of memories..and that`s what matters most.
We had some great laughs and fun days at '' British Airways '' you were always so funny & happy all the time,{ Cuckoo springs to mind ! } and to think I let you cut my hair I must have been Mad!!!
