Trudy Virginia "Ginny" RouLaine's Obituary
Trudy Virginia (Ginny) RouLaine, aged seventy-eight of Fairburn, GA passed away peacefully on May 15th, 2025. Ginny was the oldest of four siblings. She was born in San Diego, California but lived most of her life in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. She met her husband in Tuscaloosa, AL, and they moved to Georgia and raised their family there. They lived in Douglasville, Athens, Austell, and Ponte Vedra Beach for close to 40 years.
Ginny was a kind and loving soul who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and aunt devoting her time as a Room Mom, Team Mom, and Girl Scout leader. She also volunteered at her children’s school for many years. Once her children grew up, she obtained her real estate license and then moved into property management, finally owning her own company until she retired.
Ginny was a wonderful cook, loved photography and gardening. She was a born teacher sharing her passion and magic that she put into all of these things with us. Her creativity and open-minded view of the world influenced every member of our family. She constantly captured beauty in each moment or the special times in all our family get togethers in the photos she took. She had a true zest for life, kept us all laughing and was a firecracker until the end. She was loved by so many and was a true friend – always there to encourage you or lend a shoulder to cry on if needed. She was a gift to all who loved her, and her life will live on as we pass her legacy to the next generations.
Ginny is preceded in death by her parents Brady and Evadine Parker and her husband David RouLaine. Surviving sisters and brothers are Brad Parker, Sissy Spikes and Marjean Siskey.
