Troy "Ricky" Pendley's Obituary
Troy “Ricky” Pendley, age 75 of Austell, passed on to his heavenly home on December 2, 2025.
Ricky was one of three children born to William Troy Pendley and Geneva Wyatt Pendley Perry. Ricky’s life was defined by hard work and dedication to his family. He was in the flooring business for over 50 years, having started at the young age of 13. Ricky was also an avid outdoorsman who found peace in hunting, fishing, and golfing.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sylvia Tidwell.
Ricky is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Hope Pendley; children, Blake (Sharon) Pendley of Acworth and Bethany Pendley of Columbia, SC; brother, Bo Pendley (Marsha) of Wedowee, AL; grandchildren, Justin (Bryn) Pendley and Will Pendley; great-grandchildren, Walker James and Blake Elizabeth; special friend, Deb Sox; and many beloved extended family and friends.
The family would like to extend a special note of thanks to Trinity Hospice; your care and grace will not be forgotten.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 5, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
A funeral service honoring Ricky’s life will be held on Friday, December 5, 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel.
Interment will follow the service at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
