Although I only got to visit with your Daddy a couple of times, his sweet, gentle spirit has stuck with me. I could tell what a loving, cheerful person he was the minute I met him. I know his three children loved him tremendously and always looked after him. Cherish your memories of your sweet Daddy!

I had the honor of calling Troy my friend for the last two years. He was one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. My family loved him very much and will miss him greatly.
Although only a short while, we were lucky to have you as a friend. You made Angelica’s route every other Thursday a happy one. She always loved your breakfasts together. I miss hearing you say “Oh hellooooo” when I would say hi on the phone. And I’m glad you found enjoyment from the vintage blue jackets manual. Although we will miss you, I’m glad you are finally home and you can rest easy. And finally I will say as a current Lieutenant in the US Navy to a proud Sailor that you were, you can now rest easy Sailor, I got the watch. We love you Troy.

So sad my Uncle Troy has left this earth for his eternal home in Heaven. I will ALWAYS remember that station wagon filled with Wrigley's gum; it always smelled so good, and you ALWAYS gave us a pack ... or two ... or .... I remember the house in Powder Springs where we used to come to cook out in the backyard. I remember you made us little girls coffee, loaded with cream and sugar! So many wonderful childhood memories at Ma-Maw and Pa-Paw's include you! You will be missed, BUT we'll see you again one day soon!! XOX
