Travis Leach Jr.'s Obituary
Travis Leach Jr., known to his friends as “Tall Man”, age 77 of Austell passed away December 19, 2019. Travis was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1314 of Mableton since 1964. An avid outdoorsman, Travis loved to golf and fish.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Leach; and special friend, Kimberly Newsome. Surviving are his children, Alicia (Tommy) Futral of Senoia and Trey (Lindsey) Leach of Fayetteville; step-children, Scott (Michelle) Lee of Johns Creek, Leslie Brown of Rockmart, and Eddie Lee of Mableton; sister, Mary (Buddy) Bettis of McDonough; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and good friend, Robert Farr.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 23rd, 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hiram. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Travis’s name be made to Moose Lodge #1314, 7894 White Road, Austell, GA 30168.
