Tommy L. Wynn's Obituary
Tommy L. Wynn, age 80, of Powder Springs formerly of Dora, Alabama passed away December 11, 2025.
Tommy graduated with an associate's degree from Walker College.
He went on to serve in the United States Army as a military police officer during combat service.
Tommy retired from Printpack, Inc. after a successful career in 1996.
He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed fishing. He was a member of The Bass Master Association and the Georgia Bass Busters Association, where he participated in many fishing tournaments.
In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Wynn, and brother, Phillip Stanley “Bo” Wynn.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Tina Wynn; grandson, Austin Wynn (fiancé Summer); great-grandson, Alucard Wynn; sister, Johnnie Hoagland; sister, Margaret Laminack; sister, Linda Sudnao; brother, Freddy Wynn.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home in Austell.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 2:00 PM Central Time at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home in Dora, Alabama. Interment will follow the service at Dillworth Cemetery, Dillworth, AL. The family will receive friends for visitation prior to the service on Tuesday from 1:00 PM- 2:00 PM at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home.
