Tommy Sailors' Obituary
Tommy Sailors, age 63 of Austell, passed away June 9, 2013. He retired from the Cobb County Department of Transportation after 14 years, then worked for Mableton Hauling for ten years. He loved to fish and hunt and was a NASCAR fan.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 34 years, Doris Sailors; daughter, Krystal Guy of Temple; sons, John Moore of Waco, TX and Robert Moore of Kentucky; his mother, Laverne Sailors of Winston; brothers, Jimmy Sailors and Rusty Sailors, both of Winston; sister, Becky Sheridan of Douglasville; grandchildren, April King, Julie Guy, Jonathan Moore, and Christy Moore; great-grandson, Tyler Guy; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 4 until 8 PM. Funeral service will be held at the Davis-Struempf Chapel on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Robert Hulsey and Rev. David Bivins officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Cemetery.
