Todd Phillips Letcher Jr.'s Obituary
Todd Phillips Letcher Jr. left us to be with the Lord on 11/14/2017 at the tender age of 36. Todd is survived by his mother, Diane Letcher Jones, and his father, Todd Phillips Letcher Sr. and his sister Elizabeth Benedict (Letcher, husband Matt Benedict), and his brother Will Letcher. He was also survived by his stepfather Dennis Jones and stepsiblings, Adam, Aaron and Afton Jones. He was born on 3/5/1981 in Danbury, Connecticut. He spent his early years in Connecticut and Virginia and moved with his family to Marietta, Ga 30 years ago. He made first Communion and was Confirmed at St. Thomas the Apostle in Smyrna. He graduated from Osborne High School in Marietta, and received an Associates degree from Chattahoochie Tech. Todd was an excellent heating and air technician. He was good with his hands at many mechanical tasks and was great at diagnosing problems. He was also a good golfer with a great sense of humor. He was a fanatic Falcons fan and loved professional football. Todd was an amazing , witty, caring person who loved his family, working in the outdoors and playing on the beach. Todd suffered from addiction issues for many years and this eventually took his life. His smiling, warm, friendly face will be missed dearly. We draw comfort knowing that he is now resting in peace with the Lord in heaven. His faith and his family's faith will follow him on his new journey. We all look forward to seeing Todd again one day with his sufferings healed. Praise be to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 18, 9:30 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Brian Sheridan officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Bridges of Hope, 1326 Antioch Church Road, Homerville, GA 31634.
