Timothy “Tim” Eugene Lee, 66, of Peachtree City, Georgia, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022. He was born on October 18, 1955 at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the son of Carey Wyatt Lee Jr. and Edna Cole Le Read Obituary
My deepest sympathies to Tim and his family. My sisters and I were neighbors with Tim and and the rest of the Lee family when we were growing up in Austell in the 50s and 60s. We and the other neighborhood kids were always playing kickball in Tim's yard and exploring the nearby woods together. We were all great friends and stayed in touch for several years after we moved away. I know that he is sorely missed by all who knew him.

Jeffrey and Shay, I’m sorry I didn’t get to come to your dad’s service today to share in the celebration of his life but I watched it online and it was so touching to hear both of you honor him with the heartwarming and funny stories you shared. He was such a good guy and always smiling and eager to help others. We have known and loved three generations of Lees over here on Davis circle and treasure those friendships and memories made. We will be keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers and remembering fondly our neighbor and friend, Tim. If you ever come to austell, stop by and we can reminisce. Reid and I are just shocked to hear that our friend Tim passed away... he and Reid grew up together in Austell and remained friends always. He was our State Farm agent too, as his dad had been, but Tim really helped me personally navigate the complicated account my parents had when their health failed & dad unexpectedly passed away. Tim was so great! I bet he and my dad are greeting one another in heaven right now and looking to see if there is a golf course nearby!
