Thomas Garrett Langley Jr.'s Obituary
Thomas Garrett Langley, Jr, age 72, of Winston and formerly of Austell, passed away surrounded by his family on June 15, 2021. Tom was well-known in the community as a construction contractor and owner/operator of Tom’s Sporting Goods and Marine. In his free time, he loved attending car shows, watching any sort of racing, hunting, and fishing. Tom was dearly loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Garrett Langley Sr. and Betty Joyce Wood. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Lois Ann Langley; sons, Bill (wife, Tammy) Langley and Tony Langley, both of Winston; sister, Theresa “Sissy” (husband, Lee) Ray of Winston; sister, Jennifer (husband, Tim) Sosebee of Carrollton; brother, Jeff Wood of Erwin, TN; grandchildren, Tabitha, Kensley, William, Avery, and Camila; great-grandchild, Hunter-Grace; and many beloved extended family.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 18th, 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Pastor Chuck Daniel officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mozley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
