Thomas Vernon Cannon's Obituary
Thomas Vernon Cannon, age 83 of Douglasville passed away November 3, 2019.
He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and enjoyed being involved with various church activities. Thomas would often join the church to visit local nursing homes and play guitar for the elderly.
In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his family.
Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Cannon; daughter, Donna Fose; son, Lee Cannon; son, Jimmy Cannon.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Kim Cannon of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Brandy Earls of Austell; brother, Harry Cannon; brother, Roy Lee Cannon; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Funeral Services will be held Thursday 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Lord officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service Thursday from 12:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted, or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens for burial expenses.
