Mr. Thomas McKay Britt, age 62, of Mableton, passed away May 26, 2012. Mr. Britt was a registered land surveyor. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughters Audrey and Caitlin; sisters, Terry Walent and Lee White; grandchildren Read Obituary
I've known Tom for over 20 years. It hurts my heart that I'll no longer be able to talk to him and ask for his advice. He was both a friend and mentor. No doubt one of the best Surveyors I have ever know. I have so many funny and great memories of him! I'm so sorry I didn't hear of his passing sooner. The last time we talked to each other, in April, we had a pleasant conversation where we had some laughs about things we did together in the past. I'm happy, yet sad, that we actually were able to survey together one last time a year ago. I can't express how much I will miss him. God speed to my friend and mentor Tom Britt. -Fred Carlson
