Thomas Joe Harold Baggett's Obituary
Thomas Joe Harold Baggett, age 82, of Austell passed away October 18, 2016. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Hazel Marie Baggett. He retired from CSX after 41 years of railroad service. He was a member of Zion View Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing. He is survived by the mother of his children, Christine Shirley; daughters, Veronica Lynn Rankin of Dallas, Ga., Joy (Ricky) Norris of Cullman, Al., Janice Baggett of Tucker, Ga., and Shelia (Tracy) Clackum of Douglasville, Ga.; Six Grandchildren, Lindsay Hope Rankin, Thomas Alexander Rankin, Corby Townsend, Christy Townsend, Tyler Clackum, and Kaylee Clackum; Seven Great Grandchildren, and three Great-Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 4:00PM- 8:00PM Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 21, 2016 at 1:00PM in the Davis-Struempf Chapel with Rev. David Kight officiating. Interment to follow at Cheatham Hill Cemetery in Marietta, Ga.
