Thelma Estelle Waith's Obituary
Thelma Estelle Waith, age 87, of Marietta passed away April 17, 2014. She was a member of Hollydale United Methodist Church and retired from Chase Manhattan Bank in 1985 as an Administrative Assistant. Thelma was born in Brooklyn New York and was the sixth child of nine children. She relocated to Marietta Georgia in 2006. Thelma was married to Eugene Waith and had two daughters, Marsha Edelen of Mapleton New Jersey and Valerie Waith of Hiram, Georgia. Also survived by her two sisters, Lillian Oghburn of Georgia and Frances Rhone of Maryland; two grandchildren, Tiffaney (Keidrick) Turner of Covington and Mikelle Edelen of Mapleton, New Jersey; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Wednesday 1:30 PM at Hollydale United Methodist Church, Marietta with Pastor Stephen March and Pastor Leonard Akers officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Hollydale United Methodist Church, Marietta.
