Terre Mingus, age 63 of Atlanta, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Terre was an Army veteran who, after discharge, worked at VA hospitals and later was with HUD for over 30 years. She is survived by her mother, Read Obituary
Terre and I have worked together and rode the Marta train about ten years. We have shared a lot of memories, meals, and emails. I really will miss her. She has been a wonderful friend. I know I will see her again someday in the Kingdom of God.##imported-begin##Deborah B. Head##imported-end##

Terri's spirt was like a butterfly, so beautiful and yet so tender. Something that she shared with everyone she met.

Terre was my dear friend and sister for almost 30 years. We met in Denver and we remained close friends until her end, even when we both moved to different places in the country, we still stayed in close contact.
She was a bight light in my life. She always had interesting things to say and really had deep love for mankind. She was finding the gifts of the Buddha's teachings at the end, the teachings of compassion were on the top of her list.
