Tammy Carter's Obituary
Ms. Tammy Carter, age 51, of Powder Springs died Sunday, September 7, 2014. Tammy attended West Ridge Church in Dallas and graduated from Rose Garden School(Smyrna) where she attended for 16 years. She loved arts and crafts, karaoke, music, singing, dancing and video games(especially Wii bowling). For the past several years she has attended the DCRA days support program. She is survived by her mother, Donna Carter of Powder Springs; her father, Ed Carter of Bremen; sister and brother-in-law, Teri and Chris Smith of Douglasville; brother, Tony Carter of Powder Springs; nieces, Kayla and Krista; and several cousins. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Rev. Ron Daniel and Rev. Gene Golden officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. davisstruempf.com. The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to the Special Olympics of Georgia.
