Bonnie, Duke and I (Sherry Brogdon) are holding you up in prayer as you walk through this time. You and Sylvia have been like heroes to me as I listened to you sing, wishing I could sing like you! We attended the Austell Church of God together for a while when Hulet Smith was pastor. I got to sing with you and Sylvia one time during alter service and to me that was like being on stage with Elvis! :) I felt so priveleged to be able to get to know you two a little more during that time. I always enjoyed hearing the two of you sing at campmeeting and church as I always felt His annointing flowing through you. Sylvia will truly be missed by all who shared her world. Her singing, her personality, her love and compassion brought glory to God. Now she is most assuredly praising the One who walked with her and carried her through the years! Bonnie, be strong and hold on to the One who has always been faithful and never let you down! We love you,

I taught with Sylvia at Bryant Elementay. She became a mentor and dear friend to me. My husband and I went on a cruise with her a while back (How could we not?). She was too good to stay here on earth, so God called her home. She will leave an emty space here that cannot be filled. My prayers are with you Bonnie. Sylvia (Yeeyah), I love you so much. I don't know what we are going to do without you. There is such a huge crater in my heart since Jesus took you home. Levi continues to cry himself to sleep at night because he misses you so much, but with Jesus' help, we will get through this. Thank you for your love that you have given us and for adopting us as your children. I can't imagine my life without you, Bonnie, and JoAn. We are so sorry to hear of Sylvia's passing. I (Angelia) had just spoken with her that Monday evening before we got the news a few days later. She was a sweet and kind person to me every time we spoke. May the Lord give you the strength and peace you need during such a difficult time. May you be blessed is my prayer. Sylvia, I love you and always will......no one could move me like you could.
