Sylvia Ann Albert's Obituary
Sylvia Ann Florence-Albert was born December 16,
1949 in Detroit, Michigan, the first of seven
children born to Jacob and Dorothy Florence.
Sylvia was educated within the parochial school
system, graduating from St. Teresa High School in
- After high school, she attended Highland
Park Community College.
During her teenage years, she
pursued a modeling career. In
the late seventies, she started a very successful career
in the data processing field which spanned over
twenty-five years. In 1998, she obtained her real
estate license and began a thriving career as a real
estate professional with Real Estate One in Livonia, Michigan.
Sylvia was united in holy matrimony to Randy Albert
on August 16, 1997.
Sylvia was a devoted wife and mother. She was a very
loving and caring person. She enjoyed life and lived it
to the fullest. She had such a big heart and a
wonderful spirit. She spent time volunteering at hospitals and donating to various charities.
In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, (removed comma after the word “time”)
entertaining at home and spending time with family especially her grand children.
Her favorite hobby was playing Bingo and her favorite team was the Detroit Pistons.
Sylvia was preceded in death by both of her parents,
sisters, Patricia Ann Allen, Deborah Marie Florence
and niece, Tamara Nicole Florence.
She leaves to cherish her memories; a loving and
devoted husband Randy; her son Jamal; her
daughter Candis; three sisters Carol, Stephanie and Cynthia; one brother
Brian; three stepchildren Randie, Jason and Chris; two grandchildren
Sydney and Miles; eight step grandchildren Ebony Monique, Evan Stephen, Elijah Joseph, Eian, Eva Samone, Jade, Juliana
and Taylor; three nephews Maurice, Brian and Kevin Jacob; and a host of
many relatives and friends.
