Sydney Elise Myers' Obituary
Heaven gained another "Angel". Sydney Elise Myers, 32, died peacefully surrounded by her family on March 8, 2021.
Sydney - Daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend...Child of God. Gregarious, funny, positive, beautiful. Warrior!
Sydney loved 'UGA' football games, riding a motorcycle with her Daddy, watching TV shows with her Mom, spending time with her brother Evan. Sydney was all about 'Family'. Always the first to plan special family gatherings, letting everyone know she was making the cherry pie! Sydney loved going to concerts, listening to her favorite band, Need to Breathe. Creative, with a keen sense of style, she loved to share decor tips. But most of all, Sydney "LOVED'. It encompassed all that she was and is on this side of heaven. Family meant everything to her.
Always positive and upbeat, she shared many Instagram and Facebook posts that were shared to encourage, uplift, and hopefully touch someone out there reading whatever the message was. Sydney drew water from a deeper well and was always willing to share. It touched many that would read her posts.
Helping others, digging deep into life's issues and trials, Sydney was in touch with humanity in all its forms, loved animals (beloved Donovan) and she was keenly aware of how the world can swing some tough ones. Sydney knew. She survived a liver transplant a few years back and made great strides to get back up and walk that walk and pursue her dreams and goals. She had so many dreams. They are being fulfilled, maybe not here, but in another space and time walking with her Lord and Savior. How happy she must be!!!
Sydney will be forever missed by her Mom and Dad, Rhonda Myers and Allen Myers, Her precious brother Evan. She is survived by many aunts and uncles, cousins that adored her. The hole in our hearts will never mend, but hopefully, the holes will somehow be filled with precious memories, laughter, and thoughts of the many times that "FAMILY" gathered, loved, and enjoyed the beautiful little girl and the lovely woman that she became that touched so many of our lives. Your family and friends will miss you so...
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, March 16th, 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Rev. Keith Gunter officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM before the service.
