Suzanne Collins' Obituary
Mrs. Suzanne Causey Collins, 89, of Alpharetta, formerly of Austell, died December 13, 2013. A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, December 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home in Austell. Mrs. Collins was born in Austell, Georgia on July 29, 1924 to Robert Howard Causey and Susie Smith Causey. She attended Austell High School, became a dental hygienist under the direction of Dr. Rayford Tharpe and then married Air Force pilot and later Lt. Col. Henry W. Her passions were her extended family, golf and her grandchildren. She is survived by her brother, Spencer Causey, daughter Mary (Collins) Beecham, son-in-law Steve Beecham, step-sons Mark Collins, Michael Collins and Jimmy Collins and beloved grandchildren Connor, Elyse and Colin Beecham. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sweetwater Valley Community Action Mission Program, which Mrs. Collins helped found over 40 years ago, or to the charity of your choice
