Dear Ann, Cliff & Michael & your families,
I have know Skeet all of my life. I am really glad that I got to see Skeet at Uncle
Roy Blacks Funeral in September. My Mom & Skeet use to ride together to Lockheed.
I was an infant and they carried me to my Aunt Louise's house in Marietta every morning
and picked me up every night. Skeet was telling me about their travels with me. And when
he made the comment of "When your Mother & I Had you".......... I hugged his neck and said
"I didn't think you were my Daddy".......everybody around us had a great laugh. He also
would share stories about the weeks that they drove my Mom's car..... He said that Cecil
couldn't fix a d... car!!!!!!!! The problem with Mom's car was the muffler.... It kept falling down
and dragging on the road..... at least 3 times a week he would have my Mom go back into the house and get 2 wire coat hangers at a time, he would crawl under the car and off to Lockheed
they would go. After many months of Skeet complaining to Cecil, Dad finally took it and had a new muffler put on, just for Skeet.....
I will always have wonderful memories of Skeet, Ann, Cliff & Michael.
They were always like my family.
My thoughts & prayers are with you, along with my Love.
