Shirley Ann Ingram, age 76 of Powder Springs passed away October 26, 2018. Shirley was a long-time member of 2nd Baptist Church in Douglasville, GA. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Delyn Speetles and Donna Ingram. Shir Read Obituary
Don, Doug and Dave. Grady, Kellay and I were so sorry to hear about Shirley. We have lots of wonderful memories with she and Don from Lake Weiss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to hear of Shirleys passing. I can not even begin to understand the loss you feel.
I have always thought you two were the perfect couple. Sweethearts in high school, and being married for all these years, what a wonderful declaration of love. You have taken such good care of her. So just know in your heart you were always that loving support she needed. I remember when everyone would be at Mamaw's and Papaw's , I always liked to sit and talk to Shirley ( I always thought she was so Pretty) and she was always so sweet, even in her pain. She never complained, and was always complimentary to everyone.
I know these past few years have been very hard on you. Now it is time for you to rest and take care of Donald, and I know she would want you to. If there is anything I can do, PLEASE just give me a call.

She will surely be missed, don and her have always and will always remain my family, she was my mother n law and my boys grandmother, in which they thought the world of her and pawpaw, my deepest sympathy for pawpaw as I know this will be so hard and for my sweet boys whom did not want to see her suffering but are so saddened that she has gone to her heavenly home, a beautiful person inside and out, to all the family I love you dearly
My heart is filled with sadness but I know she is happy and without pain now. She is with her girls now having the time of her life in the heavens. She will be missed as this woman took care of me when my brother died I can still remember when she took me to get a hair cut even though everyone thought I was a boy lol. Aunt Shirley always had good intentions and I'm so proud to call her my Aunt. I love my aunt and uncle they have always been good to me. Rest in peace beautiful lady!

I haven't seen Shirley for many years so I remember her as a sweet, beautiful young woman and that is the image of her that will remain in my mind always.. My favorite times I spent with Shirley was on Sunday mornings before church started . I would sit with her and we would have great conversations mostly about clothes and hair. She also told me how much she loved coming to church .. My prayers are with the Ingram family.

Shirley and I were close friends in high school. I was happy to be asked to be her maid of honor when she and Don were married. Shirley was always a joy. My deepest sympathy for Don and her family.
