Shirley Wheeler Countryman's Obituary
Shirley Wheeler Countryman, age 79, of Austell passed away Friday, January 30, 2015. Mrs. Countryman was a dedicated member of Austell First Baptist Church and she loved to travel. Shirley was retired from Wellstar Cobb Hospital after 24 years as an executive assistant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Countryman. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws, Pam and David Nance of Lithia Springs, Suzette and Jeff Mitchell of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Brian and Jasmine Lawson, Andrew and Melissa Mitchell, Jennifer and Jesse Warren, step grandchildren; Kim and Ward Misenheimer, Michael and Sharon Nance, Allison and Ricky Jeffcoat; great-grandchildren, Dylan Lawson, Kira Lawson, Ava Lawson, Asher Warren, Grayson Warren;step great grandchildren; Samuel Misenheimer, Ella Misenheimer, Ricky Jeffcoat, siblings and in-laws, Eleanor and Claude Wyatt of Powder Springs, Jane and Gene Thomas of Austell, Larry and Carol Wheeler of Niceville, FL; sister-in-law, Joan Wade of Ft. Myers, FL. The funeral service will be held Monday 11:00 AM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ken Ellison and Bert Carmichael officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Austell First Baptist Church, 5991 Love Street, Austell, GA 30168.
