Shelia Richardson Cromer's Obituary
Shelia Richardson Cromer, age 70, sweetest mother, Mimi, and friend, passed away December 28, 2024 after a long battle with COPD.
Shelia was born to William Richardson and Ellen Irene Cole Richardson in Lithia Springs. After graduating from Douglas County High School, Shelia remained a life-long resident of Lithia Springs.
Shelia dedicated 38 years of service to Six Flags Over Georgia in their finance department.
Family was the priority in Shelia’s life, and her children and grandbabies were her whole world.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Don Cromer.
Shelia is survived by her daughter, Pamela Abbott of Lithia Springs; grandchildren, Pierce Abbott and Lizabeth Abbott; siblings, Julia Stanford and Mack Richardson (Vicky), both of Douglasville; step-children, Kim Ward (Nathan) and Jason Cromer (Katie), both of Paulding County; step-grandchildren, Braydon, Brooke, & Brett Ward, and Jacob, Randi, & Ansley Cromer; along with many extended family members and friends.
A memorial service honoring Shelia’s life will be held Saturday, January 4, 1:00 PM at Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Hennesy officiating.
