Sheila Maedean (Shutley) Puckett's Obituary
Sheila Maedean (Shutley) Puckett, age 66, of Powder Springs, GA passed away December 31, 2022.
Sheila was born in Austell, GA to George Thomas and Ruby Dean (Gowens) Shutley, and was raised in Powder Springs, GA. After graduating from McEachern High School, Sheila began her career in accounting with the City of Austell. She went on to work at Cobb Water System. In her free time, she loved spoiling her grandbabies. She loved to shop, would always call you on your birthday, and was an overall empathetic and compassionate individual. Sheila will be greatly missed by all those who love her.
Sheila is preceded in death by her parents, George Thomas and Ruby Dean (Gowens) Shutley; brother-in-law, Jerry Lee Parrott, Sr.; nephew, James Thomas Parrott; niece, Morgan Victoria Parrott; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Puckett; children, Shawn Floyd (wife, Stacey) of Bremen, and Shari Shareica Floyd of Powder Springs; sister, Shirley Melanie Parrott; grandchildren, Ruby Lilith Floyd, Isaiah Dean Floyd, Haley Croft (spouse, Johnathon Sanders), Chassity Thomas, and DeShawna Croft; great-grandchildren, Gannon Sanders, Atlas Sanders, Raiden Sanders, Andrew Moore, Hazleigh Thomas, and Vada Croft; nephew, Jerry Lee Parrott, Jr.; father of her children, Rayford Sharrý Floyd; and many beloved extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 5, 11:00 am at Powder Springs City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations toward the funeral service made to Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
