Sheila Gonzalves Pontes, age 60, of Austell passed away May 8, 2016. Sheila retired after 22 years of service with the Army. She loved planting in her garden. Sheila is survived by her daughter, Fatima Chattman; sister, Althia Hay Read Obituary

My fondest memories of Shelia were our conversations about men. She was hilarious giving testimonies of experiences and giving advice about dating. Sheila always supported my journey and work helping and healing women. Sheila's footprints will forever be a light on my journey.
