Sarah Christine Wells' Obituary
Sarah Christine Wells, age 79, of Marietta passed away July 27, 2021. Sarah has been a member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church in Hiram since the 60’s. Sarah loved arts and crafts, especially woodworking, and also had a passion for genealogical research. She was a strong woman and the rock of the family who will be dearly missed.
Sarah is preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Lillian Dutton; and sister, Dora Jane Dutton. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ralph O. Wells; children, Ronda (husband, Ricky) Floyd of Hiram, Denise (husband, Miles) Dobson of Irvine, KY, and Amy (husband, Eddie) Morris of Hiram; grandchildren, Stephanie, Steven, Stacy, Heather, Jessica, and Daniel; great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Brendilee, Alicia, Matthew, and Autumn; niece, Melissa; and many beloved extended family members.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 30th, 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Brother Nathan Knight officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sweetwater Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Friday from 12:00 to 2:00 PM before the service at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
