Sally Ruth Skinner's Obituary
Sally Ruth Skinner, 59, of Austell, left this world on Sunday, September 8, 2013. She was born to the late Woodrow and Martha Walden, Dec. 10, 1958, in Dadeville, Al. Sally met a Soldier stationed at Ft. Benning, Ga and was married to Raul M. Enriquez in May of 1971, Divorced in 1980. Sally then moved to Villa Rica, GA and was married to Simon Skinner in July of 1985. Divorced in November of 1987. She moved to Douglasville in 1990, and loved to socialize at Gibson’s on Fairburn Rd. In 1996 Sally moved to Austell. In 2002 she was employed and adored for the past 10 years at Dairy Queen of Mableton, by Mr. Momin and her fellow co-workers.
Sally is survived by her son: Raul Ricky Enriquez and his two children, Ethan and Daneal; her daughter: Robin Michelle Carmichael and her four children, Jennah and Talon Enriquez, Kerre and Phoenix Carmichael; and her siblings: Janie Satterfield and Floyd Walden. She was preceded in death by her longtime friend and partner Wayne Harley. She was a Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Friend, and dedicated Worker. She was very loved and will be greatly missed.
The memorial service to honor her life will be held at Davis-Struempf Chapel on Thursday at 6:00 PM with Rev. Denise Currie-Lowe officiating. The family will recieve friends prior to the service on Thursday from 5:00 until 6:00 PM. Arrangements are entrusted to Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory, Austell, GA.
