Russell Helms' Obituary
Russell Helms, age 77 of Marietta, passed away March 1, 2025.
Russell was raised in Austell and graduated from South Cobb High School in 1966. He proudly served in the United States Army for two years as Military Police.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Helms; sister, Vicki Jourdain- Leger.
Russell is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Elisha Helms; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Richard Kurland of Canton; grandchildren, Richard James Kurland and Alyssa Jeanne Kurland; brother and sister-in-law, John and Diane Helms; sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Vince Rountree; brother, Marvin Helms, brother-in-law, Yvonnick Jourdain-Leger; 4 nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025, 3:00PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturday from 1:00PM-3:00PM.
