Ruby Floyd's Obituary
Mrs. Ruby New Floyd, age 82, of Austell, died Monday, December 14, 2009. Mrs. Floyd was a member of the First Baptist Church of Austell, and was a retired food services worker with the Cobb County School System. She is survived by two sons, Joe B. Floyd, Jr. and Mike Floyd, of Austell; brother, Ernest New, Jr. of Powder Springs, and sisters, Mary Marler of Marietta, Edith Brown, of Mableton, and Dorothy Bennett of Hiram. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 16th, 2:00 PM, at Davis-Struempf Chapel, Rev. Clyde Wade officiating. Interment will be in Mableton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-8 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home and Crematory, Austell.
