Ruby Edna Austin's Obituary
Ruby Edna Austin, age 97 of Lawrenceville passed away November 17, 2022.
She was a longtime resident of Cobb County and a member of Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula, Georgia.
Ruby enjoyed square dancing, gardening, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, James Quincy Austin, Sr. and son, William Davis Austin.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jake and Janis Austin of Bowdon; daughter, Gail Austin Escue of Marietta; daughter, Pam Cartee of Lawrenceville; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ruby’s name to the nonprofit organization, Never Alone Clubhouse at www.neveralonech.org
