Roy "Red" Fox's Obituary
Roy "Red" Fox, age 89 of Austell passed away Friday, December 6, 2013. He retired after 20 years Active Duty in the U.S. Navy and then served 10 years in the Reserves. He also retired from Charlie Brown Airport after 20 years as an Airplane Mechanic. Roy was owner/operator of the family business, Mary Fox Ceramics. Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Harcrow Fox. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Patsy & Alan McCollough of Douglasville; son, William D. Fox of Franklin, NC; grandsons, Steve Fox, Jeff McCollough, Jason Fox; Joey McCollough and adopted grandson, Kris Sales; great grandchildren, Madison McCollough, Kiera Fox, Kylie Fox, Megan McCollough, Colin McCollough, Sean Fox, Maren Fox, Ryan McCollough and Davis Roy McCollough; brother and sister-in-law, Frank & Jean Fox of Carrollton. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel. Mike Lauter will officiate. Interment will follow with Military Honors at Rose Hill Cemetery, Austell. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
