Ross Willard Gowens' Obituary
Ross Willard Gowens, age 86 of Austell passed away July 30, 2021.
Ross was a devoted Christian and longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church, Austell. He worked hard all of his life and was a truck driver for over 30 years.
Ross was an avid hunter and Georgia sports fan especially Georgia Tech football, Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Gowens.
Ross is survived by his daughters and sons in law, Donna and Ken Cooper, Pamela and Scott Sanders, Cynthia and Jay Jones, Kimberly and Tad Richison; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Rorie officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service Tuesday from 11:00AM-1:00 PM.
