When Rose approached me with her accounting clip board at work I KNEW I was in for another ut-oh lesson! However during her lessons I discovered her love for the time she and Frank spent with their dogs, and the many stories of how she and Frank worked so hard in a business that Walmart erased. All this while raising their two precious daughters! We shared our love of our children and the hopes for their futures. Rose was always proud of Nikki and her role at the Fox. I remember Rose with the whole family posing on the Mezzanine balcony when Nikki got married, wow, so magical! Then talented little Rhonda getting married near the water (she was delighted!) and opening the Pacific Northwest to she and Frank! Rose loved those trips!!! You see her accounting clipboard was full of kindness, compassion, hopes and dreams for the loves of her life; Frank, Nikki and Rhonda ( of course she held a special place in her heart for the goodnesses of her sons in laws too). When I see someone enjoying their dogs, I will think of Rose and Frank. How lucky I was to share her chuckles and fond stories over the clipboard numbers....ahh Rose, thank you for your thoughtful, helpful, rich accounting lessons...you won't ever be forgotten. XOX, Pat
Rose and I had the responsibility of monthly, verifying the cash balance in the ATM where we worked. That required us to lock ourselves in a small space that would have been uncomfortable fot one person. She laughed each month as I reminded her that she was the only woman that I would willingly go in the closet with. Rose was my buddy and I miss her greatly.
We had a great time with everyone last July 31 @ 11:54 pm in Seattle. Rose and Frank were sitting tall!
Thank you to everyone and your incredible support. All of your kind words and thoughts have been a great help for our whole family. Please feel free to add a photo or share your favorite stories about Rose on this site.
