Roger William Smallwood's Obituary
Roger William Smallwood, age 87, of Douglasville formerly of Mableton passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015. During the 50's and 60's he was very instrumental in the Mableton community. Roger loved Nascar and especially Jeff Gordon #24. He is preceded in death by two sisters, one brother, wife, June Eidson Smallwood and two sons; Gerald Smallwood and Rickey Smallwood. He is survived by daughter Vonda Decker of Douglasville, grandchildren; Brittney of Atlanta, Angie (Chad) of Kennesaw, Cami (Glenn) of Watkinsville, Chas (Mikki) of Hiram, Derek of Hiram, Ryan (Sharon) of Rockmart and Amy of Atlanta. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 2nd, 12:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Rev. Bill Rorie officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in McDonough, GA. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8pm at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home, Austell.
