Robert Truman Travis' Obituary
Robert “Truman” Travis, age 88, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025, surrounded by family.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Frances Amelia Travis. Together, they built a loving home and a legacy of faith, family, and kindness.
Truman is survived by his son, Robert “Robby” Truman Travis, Jr., his daughter, Rhonda Travis Tucker, and her husband, Gregory Thomas Tucker. He was a proud grandfather to Troy Travis and his wife, Kaylyn Travis; Trina Travis; and Madison Farmer. His great-grandchildren, Camron Travis, Paisley Travis, Lexi Lucero, Ava Lucero, and Mason, brought him great joy.
Truman’s life will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his steady presence, and the love he shared with all who knew him. His memory will live on through the generations of family who cherished him.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025, 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Petty officiating.
Interment will follow at Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for visitation prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Truman’s name to the Alzheimer's Association alz.org
