Robert Benson Duren IV's Obituary
Robert Benson Duren IV, age 21, of Mableton passed away September 26, 2023. Robert was born and raised in the Austell area and graduated from South Cobb High School in 2021. He was pursuing his degree in barbering and was very talented with his clippers. In his free time, he loved playing basketball, spending time with his girlfriend, Alexis, and hanging out with his friends. Robert was a beloved son, grandson, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who love him.
Robert was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Elda Duren, Robert B. Duren Sr., Mary Enoch Derry, Georgia McClinton, Vincent Sr., and Olivia Duling.
He is survived by his parents, Kaamilya Duling and Robert B. Duren, III; sibling, Kamryn Duling; grandparents, Judy Duling (better known as “Nonnie”), DeCarlo Duling, Shelia Duren, and Robert B. Duren, II; Aunts, Tamara and Kiysha; Aunt, Regina Duren; Uncle, Darryl Duling; Aunt Benita Duling; Aunt, Andrea and Uncle Parett Smith.
He is also survived by many beloved extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 7th, 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Pastor Parett Smith. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM before the service time.
