Mrs. R. L. (Ruby Lee) Brawner Hanson Jones, age 91 of Austell, passed away September 14, 2012. R.L. was a member of First Baptist Church of Lithia Springs. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Mary Brawner and she was the last surviving sibling of the eleven Brawner children: Edward, Lucile, Felton, Evelyn, Ralph, David, Leatha, Reid, Jesse, and Madylene. Also preceding her in death are her husbands, Robert Hanson and Elbert Jones. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Charlotte & Troy Dailey of Temple, and Mary Ann & Len Wallace of Powder Springs; grandchildren: Matthew Dailey of Austell, Marc Dailey of Austell, Shady Patton of Villa Rica, and Brittany Rullan of Roswell; 12 great- grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4 until 8 PM. The funeral service to honor her life will be held at Davis-Struempf Chapel on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 4:00 PM with Dr. Marion Beaver officiating.
