Ricky Alan Patterson's Obituary
Ricky Alan Patterson, 73, of Austell, GA passed away on June 8th 2024.
He was born in Rome, GA in 1950 to Dexter and Lillie Patterson. Ricky Graduated from South Cobb High School in 1968 and attended West GA College for 2 years. He soon listed in the United States Army. After serving many years he became a Disabled Veteran.
Ricky was full of life, with a huge heart and free spirit. He never met a stranger.
His love for the Lord and his Family is unremarkable. He loved to sing (mostly to Elvis) read books and write Poetry.
Ricky was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Patterson, His parents Dexter Patterson, Clyde and Lillie Nix, Two Brothers, Darrell and Tim Patterson, Nephew, Lance Patterson.
He is survived by his Daughter and Son-in-Law, Jennifer and Ben Blackerby. Brother and Sister-Law, Steve and Ruth Patterson. Grandsons, Jacob and Kody Faulkner. Many Nieces and Nephews as well as the Great Nieces and Nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday 1:00 PM at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens with Bobbie Poole officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ricky's name to Tunnels to Towers Foundation at www.t2t.org
Ricky fought the good fight. He sacrificed his life for our Country and he will never be forgotten.
