Richard Brown, III's Obituary
Mr. Richard “Ed” Brown, III, age 52 of Gwinnett County, Georgia went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, August 21, 2010. Ed was previously employed with Central EMS. He attended 12 Stone Church and was an avid golfer, participated in and officiated basketball and softball in many Atlanta associations. He was a supporter of the Humane Society and SPCA. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard E. Brown, Jr., loving aunts, Helen Mathison ,Kakie Caldwell and nephew, Mervin G. Stone, III. Survived by his mother, Patricia W. Brown of Wilmington, Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Deborah Coker-Castiglioni (Bill) of Powder Springs,GA, Cheryl Cox (Damon) of Wilmington, Kim Mears (Gene) of Woodruff,WI; Loving Ex-Wife, Christina Brown of Buford, GA; Nieces & Nephews, Jessica & Jordan Coker; Trinity & Madi Mears; and Gracie Cox; Aunts & Uncles, Leon & Sylvia Brown; Gene & Ann Brown; Patricia A. Brown and Hugh & Frances Caldwell. Numerous loving cousins.
The family will receive friends Thursday 5-7 pm at Andrews Mortuary, Market Street. Funeral Services will be held Friday 1:00 pm at Andrews Mortuary, Market Street. Interment will follow at Lee Family Cemetery in Meadow, NC.
