Revis Cobern Ashcraft's Obituary
Revis Cobern Ashcraft “R.C.”, age 85 of Douglasville passed away June 24, 2025.
Revis was committed to his career in the dump truck business which spanned over 40 years. He loved NASCAR and scored many races over the years. Revis was an outdoorsman and enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, and tending to his garden. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thesus and Gracie Ashcraft; brother, Douglas Ashcraft; and sisters, Faye Downs and Sheila Benedict.
Revis is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Judy Ashcraft; children, Daryl Ashcraft (Jennifer) and Darren Ashcraft (Lisa); siblings, Joyce, Jean, Sherry, Kaye, David, Jimmy, and Junior; and grandchildren, Robert, Cale (Ruthi), Brandy, Shelby (Mark), and Carly.
A funeral service honoring Revis’ life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2:00pm at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Old Roswell Cemetery with the graveside service at 4:00pm. The family will receive family for visitation before the service on Saturday as early as 11am and will receive friends and family from 12-2pm.
