Rebecca Jo Shumate, 54 of Douglasville passed away Monday, December 24, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Gary Shumate; Mother, Jewell (Judy) Kuykendoll of Marietta; Daughters, Bekah (Zach) Price of Douglasville, Jessica Shumate (Ryan Vickery) of Dallas, Amy (Scott) Freeman of Dallas; Brothers, Mike Kuykendoll of Powder Springs and Marty Kuykendoll of Waleska; 6 Grandchildren, Nickolas Freeman, Madison Freeman, McKayla Duell, Emma Freeman, Harper Jo Duell and Jack Vickery. Funeral Services will be held Thursday 2:00 PM, Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel. Rev. Joe Postell and Rev. Bobby Brady officiating. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday 4-8 pm at the funeral home. Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory, Austell.
