Raymond Harold Wylie's Obituary
Raymond Harold Wylie, age 70 of Austell passed away February 14, 2016. He was born and raised in Austell and a graduate of South Cobb High School in 1964. The last eight years he resided in Phil Campbell, Alabama. Raymond was a simple man who loved the outdoors and had a lifelong love for horses and was a Professional Wrangler. He was active in the Marion County Cowboy Church in Alabama where he loved singing and working with the youth. He was preceded in death by his beloved horse Huey; mother and father, Eugene and Tommie Wylie.
Raymond is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Tommy Walker of Dallas, Judy and Dale Alexander of Dallas, and Lisa and Phil Smith of Kennesaw; 3 nephews;1 niece; 1 great-niece; beloved dog, Molly.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday 2:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Marion County Cowboy Church. P.O.
