Rafael Medina's Obituary
Rafael Medina, 88, of Powder Springs, GA passed away peacefully on October 21, 2022, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Rafael was born in Arecivo, Puerto Rico on June 3, 1934 and later moved to New York where he eventually became a barber which became his lifelong career. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother & uncle. He greatly enjoyed his service to Jehovah as a Jehovah’s Witness and always kept it at the forefront of his life along with his brothers and sisters in the faith. Rafael will be dearly missed and always remembered. Rafael is survived by his wife Noelia Medina, his sister Carmen Rodriguez, his brother José Alberto Serrano, his nephew Mitchell Serrano, his grandson Ian Jacob Cancel, his brother-in-law Leo Rodriguez, his son-in-law Ed Cancel & others. We request all of Rafael’s loved ones to join us in the viewing that will take place at the Davis Struempf Funeral Home on Monday October 24 at 4pm to 8pm and the burial service on Tuesday October 25 at 10 am.
