Preston Greeson, age 73, of Smyrna passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015. He retired as an Engineer. He was of the Baptist Faith, he enjoyed golf and Georgia Tech Football. Preston is survived by his daughter, Jill Greeson of Smyrn Read Obituary
I feel so fortune to have had an uncle like him. He will be missed. My prayers are with you; Todd, Jill, Kelsie and Eli.

Mr. Greeson was a devote father and grandfather. My daughter and his grand daughter grew up together. He never missed a game that Kelsie played and was always there to cheer her on. He was a quiet man but funny if you ever had a chance to spend some time with him. His daughter Jill is just like that. Jill I know you are hurting and I know you are going to miss him terribly but every time you are sad think of Elsie and Preston reunited in heaven. They love you and want you to be happy. Preston and I went to Green Acres Elementary School together in 6th and 7th grade. It was great seeing him at the 55 yr CHS reunion and the golf outing. I visited him in the hospital about 3 weeks ago and we talked about the good old days. My condolences to his family.

I grew up with Preston, He lived on Atlanta Rd. I lived on Dixie Ave. We hung together as kids, I remember playing lots of baseball in the field beside his house. We went thru Elem. School and High School together graduating from CHS in 1959. It was great to see Preston at the CHS 55 Yr. Reunion last year. 1st time I had seen him in many Years as I live in Tenn. Preston was a good friend in high school and in our two years at Georgia Tech. We roomed on campus our last two quarters (roommates the last quarter) and would take a study break about 10pm every night and walk to the Varsity for a snack. It was so good to have Preston at our CHS 55 year reunion. He will be missed. My condolences to the family. Allen Potter
